- 🔗 Acts on GABA-A receptors → enhances inhibitory neurotransmission.
- 🛑 Produces sedation, anxiolysis, muscle relaxation, and amnesia.
💉 Indications / Dose
- 🛌 Insomnia.
- 🏥 Surgical premedication.
- 💊 Dose: 10–20 mg nocte (max 30–40 mg/day).

- 🍷 Enhanced sedation with alcohol (avoid).
