- ๐ Produces sedation, anxiolysis, muscle relaxation, and amnesia.
๐ Indications / Dose
- ๐ Insomnia.
- ๐ฅ Surgical premedication.
- ๐ Dose: 10โ20 mg nocte (max 30โ40 mg/day).

๐ Interactions
- ๐ท Enhanced sedation with alcohol (avoid).
- โ ๏ธ Additive CNS depression with opioids, antihistamines, or other sedatives.

- โณ Risk of dependence with prolonged use.
- โ ๏ธ Caution in elderly (falls, confusion, ataxia).
