It does not treat withdrawal symptoms but reduces the craving and pleasure associated with alcohol.

- For maintenance of alcohol abstinence after detoxification.

- Severe hepatic impairment.
- Severe renal impairment (risk of accumulation).

- ๐ก๏ธ Rash, pruritus, urticaria.
- โฌ๏ธ Libido changes, impotence.
- ๐ด Insomnia.
- โฌ๏ธ/โฌ๏ธ Hypotension or hypertension (rare).
